Hip-Hop in the Park is a not-for-profit event and relies on several fundraisers throughout May to ensure the event continues annually.

- May 20 - Producers Battle and Silent Auction Fundraiser @ The Temple (10030 102 St.)
- May 23 – Hip-Hop in the Park @ Louise McKinney Riverfront Park (South of Shaw Conference Centre)
- May 23 – Hip-Hop in the Dark (After Party) @ Jet Night Club (9221 34 Ave.)
